The contest is open for children upto 6 years of age.
Q. What is the criteria for contest entry?
The contest is open to all the kids from across the world. However, some of our sponsors send prizes to only the winners from US due to the high cost in shipping. So we are not responsible for that. All the photos sent should have no make-up on contestants & no
enhancements done through photo editing tools. It should be natural photography. This is a contest for parents who wish to show off their babies and also their photograhy skills. We don't encourage professionally done photos to be sent for contest.
We don't accept very professionally shot and edited photos for the contest so as to give chance to parents who are learning photography skills :) . However if we come across a good photo which is short preofessionally, we might include the same in our website cutebabymodels.com .
Q. How can I enter my baby for the contest?
We will accept photos through the photo contest entry forum. Please send ONLY ONE photo for the contest. Don't send entry with 10 photos attached. We will just delete such entry.
Q. What other factors you consider before approving the photos for the contest.
There should be no nude pictures sent. Babies in diapers
and bathtubs allowed.KidsandBibs decision for inclusion of such photos will be final. KidsandBibs can crop the photos sent if required.Also try to send photos with only your baby in the focus, unless if a theme is specified. Keep the photo/image name as first name of your baby.
Q. Do I receive updates on the contest, once I am registered in the gallery.
Yes, we do send updates through our mailing list. Also if you are subscribed to our blog, you get the regular blog updates which are the contest updates only. Goto the KidsandBibs Blog and click on Subscribe button.
Q. What is the date for the contest entry.
Usually, we start accepting entries from the 1st of the month till 15th of the month. However the contest entry updates are sent to all our members from time to time and you are also advised to check the website for contest updates.
Q. How do you select the winners and how do you vote for the contestants.
The winners are selected through voting. Once the voting starts, you can invite your friends and families to vote for your babies. The kids who gets the highest voting will win the contest.
Q. Why the winners are decided by voting?
Well this is an age of public voting and we all know how popular American Idol and Candian Idols are. The winners are all selected by voting received from public. Through voting system, we want to spread word of mouth, about our contest. And above all, we believe in the fact that "All babies are beautiful". And basically this is a photo contest, so if people do like your photo, then they will vote for your baby and you as a parent will also learn some new photography skills.
Q . My baby is a winner. What prizes do I get?
Well your baby is first of all a winner, so just be happy about the fact. Moreover all the visitors coming to the site, will see your baby as a winner. And as we say, we give you a medium to show off your babies, so you have already acheived that by becoming a winning parent ;) About this recognition, we also have a few prizes for the Free Contest Winners. If you want to win more cool prizes you are encouraged to participate in our Baby Model Contest which does have some great sponsors and great prizes. The entry fee is just $3.
Q. Tell me more about the digital prizes.
Some of our prizes are digital prizes, like the Winner Graphics and Baby Name Reports. Such prizes are sent through emails and for other product based prizes, it will be sent to you via mail. However, some of our sponsors don't ship outside their countries. KidsandBibs takes no responsibility in this regard. The contest is for fun and to enjoy.
Q. Queries about the photos and its rights.
The rights to the photos remains with the parents. However, we will be using the photos on our sister websites. The websites where your baby's photos might be used are funcoloringpagesforkids.com,bestforbabynames.com,just4babynames.com,babybirthdaycakes.com and cutebabymodels.com. Websites can be added and deleted as per management decision. All the listed sites are baby related sites which are family friendly.
